Z50002D is suitable for coding Data Matrix simbology, a two-dimensional barcode which allows the identification of the product by lot or by the unit and guarantees both effective internal and external tracking. It is used for many applications that require large data capacity labeling such as product marking (pharmaceutical packages, printer cartridges, postal packages, plastic crates, boxes and pallets). The Data Matrix marking can be applied in many ways as long as it remains permanent through the lifecycle and not damaged or destroyed in use. It can encode any desired data, including any seuqnce of numeric, aplhanumeric or ASCII chracters. It can easily be read even if it has been partially damaged or if the print contrast is limited. Data Matrix code is a globally accepted barcode symbology, recognized by the International Standards Organization.
